A gathering will be held in the Chapel at West Lawn Cemetery, 9000 Washington Avenue on April 11, 2023 at 2:00PM with interment to follow.

Racine – Barbara A. Jarstad, age 72, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

Barbara was born on April 13, 1950 in Racine. She was the only child to Opal Butterfield; loving wife of 56 years to Robert Jarstad; mother of five to, Sandy Canaday (Al), Terri (Jim) Thurmann, Brian Jarstad, Kevin Jarstad and Michael (Nicole) Jarstad; grandmother to Robert Jarstad, Jennifer (Chris) Ottaway, Shawn Lynn (Sarah), Nicholas Jarstad, Amber (Elexis) Ramon, Cody Jarstad, Alaina and Lacey Jarstad, Mikayla, Tyler and Addison Jarstad; great-grandmother to Jordan, Aiden, Dylan, Kaydence, Kaylee, Logan and Kole. She worked for many years in private home care, and she loved taking care of others. She also loved to go shopping, play bingo and hit the casinos. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends that loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents Opal Butterfield and Lawrence Butterfield and her grandson Jacob Canaday.

A gathering will be held in the Chapel at West Lawn Cemetery, 9000 Washington Avenue on April 11, 2023 at 2:00PM with interment to follow.
