Service Details

Homegoing Celebration will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 am with Rev. Anthony Shell officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Viewing will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.

Repast, following the cemetery service, will be at “The Main Project” (1014 State Street in Racine).

Christopher Tom Edward Nesby “Boobie” was born June 26th, 1970 to the late Ruth Lee Nesby and Elbert Williams in Chicago, IL.

Boobie attended Pope Elementary School and Farragut Career Academy in Chicago, IL. Boobie and his family then relocated to Racine, Wi in 1989 where he worked various jobs as a package handler.

Boobie was an outgoing and energetic person who loved his house music, getting down on the barbecue grill and being the life of the party. Even though Boobie wasn’t a regular church goer, he believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior.

Boobie, age 53, passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, WI on Friday, February 16th, 2024 to be reunited with his parents Ruth and Elbert and his better half Delores (Stiney).

Boobie leaves behind to cherish his memory 1 son Darrius; 1 Grandson Darrius Jr.; 5 brothers, Eddie Dean Nesby, Anthony (Cynthia) Shell, Nelvnes (Juanita) Shells, Michael Nesby, Kamonte Williams; 3 sisters, Semekequice (Syid) Abdullah, Tanisha Nesby and Emma Nesby; two extended siblings, Charmeka Flowers and Bennie Pegues; best-friend, Earl Terry; devoted cousin, Shaun Hardy; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
