Dad, I miss you so much. As I visited you, I watch you become tired of this earthly life. I know you are in the hand of the lord and I’m so grateful. God share you with us for so many years and again I’m so grateful for his amazing grace. You were and always will be a special man in my heart. You are not here for me to touch, but you live on in my heart forever. I have so many fond memoires of the visits we shared not to mention breakfast, lunches and dinners we had together. I always looked forward to picking you up for church, your smile was everything to me. When I think about your last ride you took in the van with Darrias and myself, you were so happy. You were not ready for that ride to end LOL, Dad you are a great man, and I still can’t believe you are gone. I love you until infinity, your daughter Gail!

My grandfather was a true example of what a real man looks like. He truly gave meaning to the saying, “blood doesn’t make you family.” I will forever hold gratefulness in my heart for the love and care you have shown to my son and I and we will miss you immensely. Take your rest now. Kiss mom, grandma, and uncle for me. We love you!!!

    To : The Moore Family,
I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Ed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. My Dad ( late Howard Powell) would often say ” Ed is a good man” and I would agree as he was always nice to me. when I would visit he would often talk about his “Garden” which he was so passionate about. I would say he had the peace of God all over him. ” The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and minds through christ Jesus” ( Phil.4:7). I am forever so grateful for the time spent. Ed will always have a special place in my heart. Peace Be Still.

My family wants to thank you and your team for all that you did to walk along side us in my mom’s death and celebration of life. You all did an amazing job with such care, concern of details, and sensitivity to our family. I know my moms body was treated respectfully in your care and that meant the world to us to have confidence in that.
