Anna Elizabeth Hertzberger, 101, of Racine, passed away at Ascension-All Saints on Saturday, July 13, 2024. She was born in Stone Lake, WI on June 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Anton and Annette (nee: Windus) Rasmussen. She had been employed by the Mamco Corp. for over 40 years. Anna. Hertzberger was an avid reader. She also loved to dance and gardening.

Surviving are her children, Grace Werwie, of Racine, Sandi (Ron) Martin, of Rhinelander, JoAnn Rogers, Christine Al-Jehani, both of Racine, William (Kelly Kenyon) Hertzberger, of Muskego, and Mary (Joseph Worthington) Goltz, of Racine; 13 grandchildren (David, Jodi, Mike, LeRoy, Kimberly, Bobbie-Jo, Robert, Brian, Dominic, Aaron, Nicole, Adam, and Ashley), 17 great-grandchildren (Xavier, Lakesha, DJ, Leanna, Cassandra, Christopher, Matthew, Karsyn, Eli, Ivy, Indy, Aryanna, Athena, Emelia, Alexandria, Demarcus, and Johanna) and 7 great-great grandchildren (Elijah, Caleb, Jace, Arvon, Audric, Avaya, and Kalessia). She was preceded in death by her two sons, Jerome and Kenneth Greatsinger; and two grandchildren, Jacqualine Cole, and Kristi Greatsinger.

Special thanks Kayla, Jenni, and Angi (C-2nd floor nurses), the Ascension staff, her Physicians Dr. Pierce-Ruhland and Dr. Choi and staff for years of care.

    I will think of you every day even if it is for a moment. There are so many things I do daily that has some part of you that is intertwined with it. I was very lucky to have you as long as I did.
