Cynthia (Cindy) Honore’ was born in Oceanside, CA and relocated to Racine, WI shortly after. Her childhood years were spent playing with her cousins Kristen, Jess, Patty and best friend Alisha. She attended Starbuck middle school and Park High. It was during her first semester of her freshman year of HS where she met her future husband Shane. It was love at first sight for both of them and they quickly became inseparable. Their son Austin was born when she was just 16yrs old and she took to motherhood instantly. Collin was born a few years later and her family of four was complete. Cindy lived her life for her boys. Between football games, concerts, drs appointments and every other significant moment in their lives, she was there for all of them. Her unwavering love and support was a shining example of motherhood.

During her time in Racine, Cindy started her career as a cna and absolutely loved taking care of her patients. Those bonds she created blossomed into lifelong friendships with both her coworkers and patients. Her work ethic, empathy and commitment to doing her best for each and every patient was evident to anyone who knew her.

Cindy had always dreamed of living down south and near a beach. With the boys grown and covid in full swing, it was time to make that dream come true. Her and Shane moved to Georgetown, SC where she got her warm weather, palm trees and Pawleys island beach. She initially worked at our local hospital but quickly found her forever home at Tidelands family medicine in Pawleys Island, SC where she became a referral coordinator. Her tideland’s family is strong and they have been nothing short of amazing during her fight. Their love for her shines brightly.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed shopping trips to TJ Maxx, hunting for shark teeth on Pawleys beach and relaxing in her backyard with her husband and dogs. Her favorite moments were her time spent with family and friends. She loved her family, cherished her friends and adored her dogs.

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Cathy Washburn, her stepfather Don Olsen and her father-in-law Daniel Honore’. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Olivia, sons Austin and Collin, her husband Shane and a host of friends and family members too numerous to name. She wants you to know that she values the relationships she had with you and she loves you.

I remember Cindy well. We worked together on 3A Rehab. I was a day nurse at that time. Cindy was excellent at her job, it was a pleasure to work with her. I wish I could of attended but I was going out of town. She is with Jesus now.

Testimonials

Last warm-hearted care of our mother

Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didnt know what to expect. We didnt have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didnt stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.
