Service Details

A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 614 Main Street, Racine, WI, with Father Matthew Buterbaugh officiating on Saturday, May 31st.

 

Visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 and service at 11:00.

Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church or to the Parkinson Foundation are welcome.

Alan William Ellingham, 79, passed away on April 7, 2025.  He was born in Racine, on April 29, 1945 to Earl and Alfreda (Hodges) Ellingham.

He graduated from Washington Park High and earned a Bachelor’s degree from Stout State College and a Master’s degree from Viterbo College.  He taught for 33 years in RUSD and retired from teaching and baseball coaching in 2000.

Al is survived by his wife, Grace (Hoppe) Ellingham, son Eric (Kim Lodes) Ellingham, daughter Sue Ellingham and grandchildren, Andrew and Emma Ellingham.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Diana.
