Service Details

 

 

His Memorial Homegoing Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20th. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

 

 

Anthony McKinley Gray, 61, ended his earthly journey on Thursday, June 27,2019. Tony was born in Racine on March 30, 1958 the son of the late Bernard McKinley and Li​l​ly Mae (nee: Weathersby) Gray.

He served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps. Tony had been employed by The Great Northern Corp. and later by S. C. Johnson. He was an avid Packers and Cubs fan; and enjoyed going to their games.

Surviving are his brother, ​Terrance​ Gray, of Chicago; step​children​ Monica (Cleveland) Wade, of Racine​, and Donny (Keshia née Fields) Brown of North Carolina; Half brother Demetrius Gray, of Arizona; ​grandchildren, Ceanna, Cavana, Calina, and Cymayia Wade; and​ ​ ​Kaleb and Kayla Brown. ​ Tony is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Monica’s mother, Annie Joyce McWilliams-Nelson; and by two brothers, Gregory and Ronald Gray.

    My sympathies and prayers to Tony’s family and friends. I have fond memories of Tony. We ran track and played basketball together back in our days at Case High.
