Oak Creek – Mrs. Clare M. Faulkner, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

She was born in Cudahy on August 28, 1931, the daughter of the late Morris and Clara Hogard. On March 12, 1955, she was united in marriage to Carl E. Rasmussen. Together they raised their family, a son Timothy (Tim) and daughter Susan until Carl passed away from cancer in 1975.

Clare married Richard G. Faulkner on November 27th, 1983 in Racine. They enjoyed their retirement years dining out and traveling. They wintered in Englewood, FL for several years. They experienced European vacations with their friends to Spain, Portugal, Austria, and Switzerland with Clare often commenting that Switzerland was her favorite. She enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family in Canada, Michigan, Minnesota, Texas,  and Virginia.

Clare worked as a secretary before marrying and later with Manpower. She took great pride in maintaining her home and enjoyed decorating and shopping which she affectionately called “doing research”.

Clare is survived by her daughter Susan (Glen) Rogers of Ponte Vedra, Fl, grandchildren Alex and Krista Jacobson, step-daughters Cynthia Madson and Christi Kemp of Milwaukee, step-grandchildren Bryan Madson and Stacy (Eric) Madson, 7 step-great grandchildren, sister Sonia (James) Thompson of Oak Creek, brother Morris (Kathy) Hogard of Washington Island, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Carl and Richard, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A heartfelt thank you to the team at Meadowmere Assisted Living in Oak Creek and St. Croix Hospice.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

My husband, Tom, died on Jan. 24, 2015. From that life-changing day and still now, Gary and his sons have been at my side taking care of me, advising me, and guiding me with their sensitive, caring, and efficient expertise. I have heard from friends and family how perfect and wonderful the funeral service was (it was a blur for me), and I have the beautiful obit, memorial booklets, CD rom of slide show, celebration candle, portrait, and even personalized thank you cards to provide memories and comfort during difficult days ahead. My heart is full of thanks and appreciation to Gary Langendorf and his entire family.
