DeAnna J. Knoch

Jun 2, 1964 – Feb 20, 2008

DeAnna J. Knoch, 49, passed away in the Hospice House in Kenosha on Wednesday, February 21, 2008 with her family at her bedside. DeAnna was born in Racine on June 2, 1958 the daughter of Eugene and Elaine (nee: Pedersen) Lenz. On August 31, 1985, in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was united in marriage to Joseph G. Knoch. DeAnna had been employed by K Mart for over 32 years. She was a very active member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church where she worked with the youth group. She enjoyed scrap booking but her greatest love was for her family. Surviving are her husband Joe, their daughters Katie (fiancé Nick Poblocki) Knoch of Pewaukee, and Krista Knoch at home; her grandson Chase; mother Elaine Lenz; sister Debbi (Michael) Prudhom all of Racine, nieces and nephew, Leslie Wallace, Brianne (Mike) Tesch and Brandon Prudhom. Her father Eugene D. Lenz preceded her in death in 1993. Her funeral service will be held in the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 11th and Main, on Tuesday, February 26th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Creighton Kaye officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and in the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. The family has suggested memorials to either the American Cancer Society Racine Relay for Life or to an educational fund to be established at Educators Credit Union here in Racine for her grandson Chase.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was a kind, chipper woman. She had a positive energy that surrounded her. I have fond memories of your mother sitting on the bleachers during summer softball games managing to watch your father play ball, as well as make sure none of us had skinned a knee while playing.

Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers.

    Syd.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

Bill’s service was beautiful, beyond belief. Leslie was priceless in all she did. Gary, knowing Bill for many years, said a few words at the service. The special touched I didn’t expect warmed my heart. Two very, very special people helped make a sad day into something very special.

Thank you to all those that helped behind the scene, setting up, opening doors. My heart is full.

Bless you.

Helene Hellesen
