Mr. Eddie Hugh Campbell Jr.  age 74, transitioned from this side at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, on May 8th, 2020.

He was born November 30th, 1945, in Starkville Mississippi to the late Ms Minnie B. Campbell and Eddie Campbell Sr. He received his education in Mississippi and Racine school Districts. Eddie was a veteran who honorably served his country during the Vietnam war.

Eddie was the second oldest of eleven siblings, who epitomize the true meaning of loyalty to his family. He was a man of integrity with a profound work ethic. He was employed at JI Case and later, Belle City, as a skilled certified Journeyman Welder where he retired with over 40 yrs. Of service.

Eddie was a self-sufficient hard workman who worked extremely well with his hands. He was a Jack of all trades; who really mastered all; that he put his hand too. Whether it was tearing down, fixing, building, showing or simply teaching someone, the work would get done. He really enjoyed working on vehicles, for leisure fishing, watching Westerns, vintage and classic shows and especially WWE wrestling. Eddie was also road warrior, he was fond of road trips and did not mind hitting the road, no matter where it led.

Eddie experienced a significant chapter in his life, last year when he took his final road trip to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. which he most appreciated and enjoyed.  Eddie was a no- nonsense, loving, gentle man who will be greatly and deeply missed by family and friends.

Preceded him in death; Linda K. Campbell (wife), Grandparents, Gaston and Pansy Canady, one Aunt Mandy Covington, three brothers Frankie Gandy, Willie James, Craig Campbell, two Sister Bobbie Jean (Campbell) Hicks and Pansie Marie Campbell, two infant brothers, nephew Frank Gandy and great nephew Harvey Gandy and one great niece Taliesha Souter and beloved brother-in-law, Darnell Henley

He leaves to cherish his memories; two sons, Eddie H. III of Mil, WI and Will Eddie Campbell of Whitewater, WI, one daughter Lydia Mae Edmonds of Columbus Ms. Two grandsons, Lavarious and Julius Hall. Two granddaughters Deanna McGee and Shania Campbell. Two sister, Maryann Campbell-Henley, of Starkville Ms. Joann Campbell of, one Brother, David Campbell of Racine, WI. A host of 14 precious nieces and nephews and 35 great nieces and nephews.
