Edward R. Vandenorth

Jul 29, 1999 – Jun 23, 2024

Edward R. Vandenorth Jr., passed away on June 23, 2024.

Eddie was born July 29th, 1999, a son of Edward R. Vandenorth and Chelsie Vandenorth.

Eddie was a maverick of a man, goofy and kind with a Viking spirit. He loved teaching himself to play guitar, writing songs, and playing video games. He took great pride in his love for his sisters, and would do anything to protect and provide for them. He was a joy to anybody who knew him. He will be remembered for his incredible soul, his limitless heart, his unmatched work ethic, his sense of humor and so many more traits that could never be translated into words. He is so loved and will be missed greatly. We love you, Eddie.

He is survived by his sisters, Kali Vandenorth and Casadie Vandenorth; his mother Chelsie Vandenorth; several aunts and uncles and cousins, including Sam Vandenorth and Vandenorth Family; his friends, Mike and Billy, and his maternal grandmother, Cathy Nau.

I’ll miss all the fun times we had working out, playing Mortal Kombat and drinking Heineken’s together. May your Viking spirit live on forever! I always did my best to help you ever since we became friends. I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you needed me the most. Rest in peace Eddie! I love you lil bro!

Eddie “The Eagle”, I miss you bro, you had the most genuine soul of anyone I’ve ever met. Every Friday you and Eric would stop after work to have a Heineken and talk about the week and plans for the weekend. This was our tradition and I’m truly devastated that you won’t be walking in this Friday. It hurts my heart to walk into the apartments after work knowing we used to sit out back all the time and talk. So many good memories together my brother. I’ll never forget taking you to your first Brewer game and how much you loved the stadium and the city. I wish we would have got the chance to go camping, start a podcast, check out more car shows etc ….. You were the best Viking brother in life and your spirit will always live on through your friends and family. Fly high now eagle, wether in Valhalla or Heaven we love and miss you dearly.

Sweet Eddie, always laid back, your laugh lights up any room.
You were an old soul too soon and an AMAZING young man, robbed of the chance to get old.
My heart is still breaking, I am still buying you birthday presents.
I truly love you more than you will ever know.
So proud of the man you became.
    Love, Mama

I’ll miss you forever, but I know dad’s holding you, and you will both be waiting and watching. “No ones ever really gone” -Luke Skywalker

Eddie was my first “boyfriend”. We were just a couple of 12 year olds with a big crush at the time, but he taught me value in always being authentically yourself despite what others think. I always admired that about him. Eddie had an incredibly kind and genuine spirit, and you were lucky to consider him a friend.
Rest easy, Eddie, I wish I could have talked to you one last time.

It’s taking a while for me to even be able to do this. I love you Eddie and the only thing I can take any comfort in is knowing that we will meet again in heaven.
    All my love, your Gma
