Service Details
A memorial celebration of Elmar’s life and homegoing will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, 11:00am, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.

Elmar P. Scaife, 67, received the promise of eternal life on March 30, 2022. He was born in Madison, IL, on January 14, 1955, son of Cleveland and Dorothy (née: Harris) Scaife, Sr.
Elmar was an employee at Warren Packaging retiring after many faithful years of service. He loved playing music in his spare time. He played keyboard as a hobby and guitar for Dynamic Illusion. Elmar was also an avid sports fan and loved to cheer on his Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks. He was a family man and cherished the times he was able to spend with friends and family.
Elmar leaves to cherish his memory his former wife and best friend, Suzette Scaife; children, Sheila Olinger, Elmar (Katrina) Scaife, Elicia Scaife; grandchildren, Davarius Scaife, Deanna Hargrove, Darian Cornelius, Diamond (Jeff) Tetting, Rodnee Drew, Remee Drew; 20 great-grandchildren; father, Cleveland Scaife, Sr.; brothers, Cleveland (Ethel) Scaife, Jr., William (Brenda) Scaife, Jerome Scaife, Curtis Scaife, Andre Scaife; sisters, Barbara (Fletcher) Howard, Gwendolyn (Tim) Taylor, Eva (Chianti) Riley; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Elmar is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Scaife; and brother, Danny Scaife.
A memorial celebration of Elmar’s life and homegoing will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, 11:00am, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service. The family has requested that masks be worn in the funeral home for the visitation and service. Please be sure to bring a mask.
