Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

George William Mueller, 75, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House Monday morning, June 16, 2025.

George was born in Milwaukee, WI to Sylvia and Clement Mueller.  He went to grade school at St. Louis Catholic Church.  After graduation from Union Grove High School he studied drama at the University of WI, Madison.  George married Mary Sue Hintz in 1979, celebrating 45 years of marriage. He worked selling carpet and furniture over the span of his career.

George had a great sense of humor, often finding joy in his own jokes. He loved to fish and spend time at the cabin in Eagle River (or we could say “Up North”).  A devoted Brewer and Packer fan, he hardly ever missed a game. George loved music and would burst out singing songs by Elvis, Conway Twitty, and Neil Diamond.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue and his children Kelly Mueller, Craig (Christine) Mueller, Brandon (Jamie) Mueller, Lauren (Karl) Gursky; dear grandfather, “Papa”, to Jamie, Justin, Melony, Hannah, Alex, Jonathan, Jessica and Ashton; great grandfather to Brylee, Harley, Ayden, Fayth and Oaklyn; brother, Paul (Karen) Mueller and sister, Patricia (Patrick) Prout; brothers-in-law, Max Hintz, Laird Hintz, and Dean (Tracy) Hintz; niece, Jennifer (Brant) Boelts and nephew, Brian (Amanda) Prout; great niece, Ariana; great nephews, Brolin and Andrew; other relatives and dear friends.  He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Katie, parents, Clement and Sylvia Mueller, sisters-in-law, Ann Mayer and Janice Mueller.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Lucy’s Church, Racine, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. A private interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

A special thank you to Kathy Blomberg, friend, and the staff at Ascension Hospital, Alliance Hospice and Hospice House for their loving and compassionate care.

Testimonials

October 9, 2020

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about. Those details showed up in every part of the service from the flowers, the music, the thank you’s, pictures, obituary, outdoor military honors, etc. etc. My father would have been so grateful for the way you honored his life. I also received phone calls from family and friends indicating how beautiful the service was in every way. You and your staff definitely go above and beyond. You treat everyone like family and your compassion is so genuine. There should be more people in the world just like all of you. No words can express our gratitude for all you have done for myself, my father and our family. Thank you so very much and may the Lord bless you and yours! Sincerely Terri Carls and the Szymanski Family

Theresa Lynn Carls
