Gregory S. Broughman

Sep 13, 1966 – Apr 27, 2026

Service Details

Memorial visitation will be in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.

Gregory Scott Broughman, age 59, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Ascension All Saints Hospital with loved ones by his side. Born in Kenosha on September 13, 1966, to the late James and Marylynn (Kulesh) Broughman.

He graduated from Tremper High School. He first worked at Gateway Tool & Die and then MGM Tool & Die.  After 20 years in the tool and die business, he chose to follow his passion for cooking.  He graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago becoming a Chef.  He cooked and lived in Chicago, before moving to Briggsville, WI where he continued cooking at Foxy’s and was affectionately named The King of Briggsville.

Greg met and started dating Nicole Reid (Bortz) in 2014 and officially tied the knot in 2024. Greg said that he met a new level of happiness after meeting the love of his life; this was evident to all who saw them together. He also loved spending time with family and friends. Greg had so many people who loved him.

Greg loved cooking and was adventurous, always ready and willing to try new foods.  Listening to music brought him joy; he loved music of any genre.  He also spent his free time watching sports (especially the Packers and Brewers), reading, and traveling.  He loved learning and was a fountain of knowledge.  He was incredibly funny, always ready with a joke or witty comment.  He was kind, generous, loving, forgiving, and fun.

His biggest accomplishment in life was his family. He loved being around his family and friends and being the best husband, step-dad, brother, son, uncle, and friend a person could have. His favorite time was spent with Nicole going on long car rides with no destination in site; name a city in Wisconsin and he could tell you something about it.

Surviving is his wife, Nicole; stepchildren, Bricoda (Jesse Haase) Reid, Dakota “Coty” Reid, and Levi Zick; grandson, Jaxon Cooper; sisters, Melissa (Tom) Dreifuerst and Mary (Anthony) Rosa; nephews, James and Daniel Dreifuerst, and Joshua “Buck” (Katelyn Rossi) Bielen; niece, Magdelyn Dreifuerst; and best friend/”brother”, Jim Bielen.

In addition to his parents Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Wiley and Mary Broughman, and Chester and Marie Kulesh, and good friend Ryan Boehm.

Memorial visitation will be in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.

It’s too bad Greg I’ve known you for a long time and you were always a good guy you would take the shirt off your own back for somebody you will be missed. I know I haven’t seen you in many years but followed you on Facebook God rest your soul.
