James "Jimmy" Donald Weber

Dec 28, 1960 – Jan 10, 2026

Service Details

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, at Journey Church in Kenosha. Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., followed by the service led by Pastor Stephen Jackson.

James Donald “Jimmy” Weber, 65 years young, passed away peacefully at his home on January 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Jimmy was born on December 28 1960 in Waukegan, Illinois, to Donald Weber and Kathleen (née Fura) Weber. At the age of 14 he moved to Guam where he was raised by his grandmother Conception and his auntie Rosie Flores for 22 years of his life, who helped shape him into the man he became.

On April 13, 2013, Jimmy married the love of his life, Jo Ann (née Sesser) Weber, in Burlington, Wisconsin. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and love.

Jimmy worked as a truck driver for over 40 years, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. Beyond his profession, he was deeply committed to preserving culture and community. He was the founder of The Midwest Chamorro Group, an organization that was formed 7 years ago, dedicated to perpetuating, educating, and promoting Chamorro culture and tradition. Jimmy proudly organized large gatherings to celebrate Guam’s Liberation Day, bringing people together in joy, heritage, and unity.

A man of strong faith, Jimmy was a devoted member of Journey Church. He lived his beliefs daily known for his huge heart, loving and forgiving spirit, and unwavering generosity. A true family man, Jimmy was often the peacemaker and mediator among family and friends. He carried a strong spirit of adoption, opening his heart and arms to others with compassion and grace. His benevolence and generosity were given freely.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Jo Ann Weber; his two daughters, Sarah (Tim) Meyer and Rachel (Guadalupe) Almaguer; and his two sons, Basilio Weber and Frankie Weber. He is also survived by six cherished sisters: Candy (Ron) Berquist, Erin Murphy, Jennie (Marc) Milski, Shawne (Matt) Gums, April (Tim) Orth, and Robin (Jody) Frederking; and his brother, Donald (Andrea) Weber. Also surviving are his stepfather, Frank Flores; step-aunt, Rosie Flores; aunts, Maxine (Paul) Rowan and Mary Ann Thrun; his six beloved grandchildren—Mariah Creamer, Jaidyn Almaguer, Olyvia Meyer, TJ Meyer, Westlynn Almaguer, and Ezekiel Almaguer—and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his infant brother, Donald Weber; his parents, Donald and Kathleen Weber; and many other beloved family members, including grandparents and stepparents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, at Journey Church in Kenosha. Visitation will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., followed by the service led by Pastor Stephen Jackson.

Jimmy’s legacy of faith, love, generosity, and cultural pride will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
