Kenneth Richard Werley

Jun 19, 1948 – Aug 15, 2025

Service Details

A memorial service will be held in honor of Kenneth’s remarkable life on a later date, where family and friends will gather to reflect on cherished memories, share stories, and unite in their love for him. Specific details of the service will be shared in the coming days, as we gather to celebrate both the man he was and the deep impact he made on our lives.

Kenneth Richard Werley, a beloved father, cherished brother, true friend, and brilliant engineer, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on June 19, 1948, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Kenneth lived a life marked by dedication, intellect, and a love for his family.

Kenneth earned his Bachelor’s degree and devoted his professional life to the telecommunications industry as an accomplished computer engineer at AT&T. His expertise and commitment to his work were evident to everyone who had the pleasure of working alongside him. Kenneth’s ingenuity brought innovation to the projects he touched.

As a father, Kenneth was a source of strength and inspiration to his three children: John Werley, Josh Werley, and Sarah Gerbers. His love for them was boundless and unwavering, a guiding light in their lives. He cherished each moment shared with his beloved grandchildren: Natalie, Liam, Ella, and Lily, who filled his heart with joy and laughter. Kenneth is also survived by his two brothers, Donald and Richard Werley. Kenneth and his entire family shared countless memories that shaped their lives and deepened their familial bonds.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Pearl Werley; and brother, Paul Werley.

While we grieve the loss of Kenneth, we also celebrate the life he lived-a life full of compassion, integrity, and laughter. His spirit will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

As we honor Kenneth Richard Werley, may we carry forward his warmth and wisdom, forever cherishing the love that will remain in our hearts.

Dee Jensen

Dear Gary, You and your staff are really special people. I and my family felt so blessed that all of the funeral arrangements were in your thorough and caring hands. One helpful meeting and then you took care of all the arrangements – and we knew we need not worry about one thing.
