Service Details

Visitation and time of sharing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service take place at 6:00 P.M. with Deacon Roberto Fuentes, officiating.

Manuel M. “Flaco” Martinez Sr. passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Racine on April 17, 1977, he was the son of J. Cruz Munoz, Sr. and Jeannie (nee: Rodriguez) Munoz.
He was educated in the schools of Racine and worked as a CDL truck driver for many years. He was a handy man and could fix almost anything, He was our only jack of all trades and was there whenever he was needed. When he wasn’t working, he was spending time with his family and loved ones. He had beautiful artistic skills along with being the family tutor as he excelled in math. Mario had a huge heart and was the happiest when he was with the whole family. He was preceded in death by his father, J. Cruz Munoz, Sr.; and his aunt, Rose M. Tamayo

Survivors include his mother, Jeannie Munoz; his son, Manuel M. Martinez Jr.; two daughters; his siblings, J. Cruz (Krista) Munoz Jr.; and Yesenia Munoz (Jose Puentes); his nephews and niece, J. Cruz Munoz III, Luka Munoz, Angel and Emiliano Maldonado, and Marcelino and
Jenasee Puentes; his partner, Sabrina Sanchez; and special cousins Noemi, Malena, Lillie, Cecilia, Angelica, and Esmeralda who loved him like the brother they never had. Mario will be dearly missed by many more cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Crystal Ware, RN at Ascension Hospital in Racine and all the SICU staff at Aurora St. Luke’s in Milwaukee for all their special attention and care.
