Mount Pleasant – Marilyn Lou St. Clair, age 86, passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Marilyn was born in Racine on January 4, 1935. A graduate of Washington Park High School, Marilyn served our community with Racine County Human Services – Foster Care Dept. for many years. On May 23, 1976, she was united in marriage with Jerome St. Clair.

With profound faith, Marilyn & Jerry were members of United Lutheran Church on Erie Street. She exposed and shared her faith with her children & grandchildren. It was extremely important to her. Marilyn truly lived a full life. In the years that they were together, Marilyn & Jerry had many great experiences. They welcomed and voluntarily spoiled 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren- of whom they loved so very much. Family was her everything. Marilyn & Jerry traveled many great adventures together, including Hawaii & Alaska; cruised the Panama Canal & Bahamas; and attended many Packer games at Lambeau Field, just to name a few. They also spent over 40 summers camping with family where they also established many longtime friends.

Surviving are her loving husband of 45 years, Jerry; their children, Sandra (Kenny) Liberty, Jeff (Linda) Liberty, Brad(Lisa) Liberty, Brian(Shari) Liberty, Chris Perfetto, Dan St.Clair, Julie Krucas and Diana(Saul) Perez. 13 grandkids; Rochelle (Chad) Harper, Danielle (Mark) Leinenger, Christopher St.Clair, Tyler (Alex) Krucas, Alli (Pat) Peterson, Lorilee (Joe) Grennell, Jordan (Shelby) Perez, Anna Wabaninkee, Jarred Allen, Sara (Molly) Liberty, Sabrina (Brian) Liberty, Brandon Liberty and Jordon (Brittany) Liberty; 22 adored great-grandchildren, Arlo, Elijah, Izabelle, Lexi, Lavan, Trystin, Zendaya, Zoey, Ariana, Trisha, Isabella, Alex, Paula, Jude, Nikolas, Jaslene, Michael, CJ, Shamus, Jack and Chay; sisters, Sharon Thornton and Donna Runnels; brother, David Krogh; many cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

Marilyn was greeted in Heaven by her parents, Louise & Ted Schacht and Harold (Ruth) Krogh; grandsons; Aaron Perfetto and Benjamin Grennell; and sons-in-law, Tom Perfetto and Jason Krucas.

Services celebrating Marilyn’s life will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 12:00 noon with Pastor John Bischoff officiating. Entombment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. Special note of thanks to Compassus Hospice and Rochelle, for the compassionate care & support given in Marilyn’s time of need. May God bless all of you!

It is with heart-felt sorrow that we offer condolence to the St. Clair-Liberty family upon the death of Marilyn St. Clair. We wish her God-speed to her heavenly home. May the family’s sorrow pass briefly, while vivid memories of her be retained forever. Since we live many miles apart, we didn’t get to visit very often. But we kept in touch with numerous emails and phone calls through the years. May the peace of the Lord be with each and every one of you.
