Martha Josefina Natareno , age 85, of Kenosha, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her home. Martha
was born October 26, 1936 in Finca La Soledad, Guatemala, the eldest of seven children to
Manfredo and Virginia (Merida) Natareno.
Martha was a lifelong learner, enjoyed traveling, and entertaining family and friends. To most,
Martha was known by the beloved name “Mamatita,” but more importantly, she was known for
her obedience to and love for the Lord. And in her obedience, Martha, mother of Eduardo,
Byron, and Guillermo, made it a point to raise her children to surrender their lives to Jesus
Christ. Martha was a faithful and well-known member of New Jerusalem Church, Kenosha, WI.
In between services, Martha frequently hosted prayer and worship meetings at her own home.
And for friends and family alike, Martha was a trusted confidante and a minister of counsel and
prayer.
Martha is survived by her siblings: Gloria, Celeste, Rosina; Children: Eduardo (Connie) Vargas,
Byron (Reina) Vargas, and Guillermo (Chelle) Vargas; Grandchildren: Giovanni (Evoanna)
Vargas, Michelle Vargas, Joshua (Amanda) Vargas, Rachael (Luis) Yon, Daniel Vargas, Amy
(Jorge) Jacinto, William Vargas, Heather Krome, Cassondra (Joe) Hunt, Broderick (Elizabeth)
Krome, and Vincent (Sarah) Krome. Martha is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and
one great-grandchild to be, several nieces and nephews, and many other beloved relatives and
friends. Martha is predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Rudy and Ody.
