Service Details

There will be a memorial visitation for Mary in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 10:00AM. A memorial service celebrating Mary’s life will follow at 11:00AM.

Memorials to Mary’s family have been suggested.

Mary Lenz, age 79, passed away at Bay of Sheridan in Kenosha on Friday, May 3, 2024. She was born in Oconto Falls, WI on May 6, 1944 to Joseph and Dorothy (nee: Fiedler) Niemczyk. Mary was united in marriage to Andrew Lenz in January of 1963.

She was a homemaker and mother to her three children. In 1975, she divorced and moved to Green Bay, WI until 2017 when she came to Racine, WI and live with her daughter. In 2021, she moved to Kenosha, WI. Mary enjoyed shopping, going to Bingo, puzzles and her tv shows. She also enjoyed time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her children Daniel Lenz (Gail) and Lisa Schwartz; her siblings Michael Niemczyk, Adeline Arveson, Dee Coopmans and Peggy Laska; her grandchildren, Kayla Cook (Brown), Demarre Cook, Steven Brown, Tonya Peasall, Daniel Lenz ( Alisha Degrave), Emma Malone, Constance Malone, Amanda Konrad, Michael Konrad and Dean Schwartz III; step granddaughter Chauntelle Newberry, and 11 great grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Niemczyk, daughter, Susan Brown; granddaughter, Jennifer Brown; sister, Jeanette Kamke; brother, Joseph Niemczyk, Sr.
