Mrs. Maryann Pettit, 72, (formerly of Racine) died on Wednesday, May 5, 2010.
She was born in Fennimore, WI on August 19, 1937 to the late Raleigh and Ruth (nee: Stepper) Loomis.
Mrs. Pettit was an active member of the Salvation Army. She also enjoyed her connection with the Home League.
Her survivors include her children, Barbara (Paul) Logan of Springfield, IL, Linda (Harry) Nordby of Madison, David (Katherine) Pettit of Lansing, MI, Julie Koch of Indianapolis, IN and Clifford Pettit, Jr. of Lansing, MI. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Joyce Loomis of Dubuque, IA. Mrs. Pettit was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Pettit, Sr. on November 10, 2005 and by her brother, Harold Loomis.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. for a service celebrating Maryann’s life. There will be a visitation in the funeral home from 4-6 p.m.
