Susan M. Ricchio, age 77, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Parkview Gardens Memory Care Center on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Susan was born in Racine, Wisc. on August 21, 1948, daughter of the late Ernest George Ricchio and Ruth May (Nee: Peterson) Ricchio.
Susan graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1966”. Later in life, she attended Alverno College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. Her career path began in California where she was hired by Bank of America. After moving back to Wisconsin, Susan worked in the Treasury Department at S. C. Johnson & Son, Inc. and was a member of the SCJ 20-Year Club. Susan’s love of travel led her to her final career as a Midwest Airlines Flight Attendant.
Susan loved all animals, especially the tigers at the Racine Zoo, and her own beloved fur babies. Besides her love of travelling the world, live concerts were always a favorite pastime; and she was a huge Green Bay Packers fan!
Surviving is her sister, Laurie A. (Todd L.) Cline, of Cedarburg. She is further survived by nephew, Anthony L. (Dana) Cline, niece, Anna C. (Will Cole) Cline, and great nephews, Rory L. Cline and Grady L. Cline. Susan is also survived by dear relatives, especially Cousins Sharon, Tommy, and Angie, as well as many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Julie R. Ricchio, and her Aunt Anna V. Peterson.
Susan’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Parkview Gardens Memory Care Center’s Registered Nurse Manager, Leslie Bacus, and the health care staff for their compassionate care and support of Susan.

Dan and Connie Pederson says
So sorry to hear of losing your sister Todd and Laurie. Losing a sibling is very hard and losing two in such a short period must be really tough. Sue and Julie always seemed very nice and fun.
Sue Henke says
Two sisters who you loved dearly. They are at peace and in a wonderful place. I always loved talking with them when they were by your house.
Keep those memories alive. Share them with family and friends.
So sorry for your loss.
Cyndi Horvath Wick says
For the past 3 years Susan has visited our home in Gunnison County, Colorado and enjoyed all the outdoor things we did. She loved seeing the wildlife and the colorful flowers. I’d take her on 4-wheeling rides through the forest and up the mountain trails. She enjoyed every thing about her vacations in our corner of the world. She flew with us to Arkansas to watch our grandson play college football. We always had fun. I know she is in heaven with Jesus now.
I will miss you Susie and will treasure our friendship always.

I was really saddened when I heard about Sue’s passing. I have a lot of good memories from our work days together. She made it fun to go to work. I don’t think I’ve met a person who loved animals as much as she did. And she was so proud of Tony and Anna. My condolences to you, Lauri, and your family

To My Dear Cousins, Dave and I are so sorry to hear of Sue’s passing. She was a beautiful soul and always made us feel happy when she was around.
The Lord Jesus has promised us that He is preparing a place for us in Heaven. I believe this and I know you do also.
Remember to lean on the Lord, Jesus. God sent us his son as our Redeemer and Shepherd. The Holy Spirit also fills us with Grace to be strong and face our trials.
Pray, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
Love Renee
