Aug 18, 1935 – Oct 29, 2006

Rev. Thomas N. White, 71, passed away at St. Mary’s Medical Center, on Sunday, October 29, 2006. He was born in New Albany, MS, on August 18, 1935, the son of the late Thomas and Willie Missouri (nee: Mosley) White. He had been a resident of Racine for over 50 years. Rev. White had been employed by Belle City as a molder. He enjoyed Mechanical work, fishing and drag racing. He accepted Christ at an early age and remained strong in his faith as a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church and it’s Male Chorus. He had a kind and gentle spirit and would embrace anyone who would enter his home. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Henry (Bridgette) White of Racine, LaSandra White of Lithonia, GA, Tiffany White, Mechelle White, and Darius White all of Racine, Toni Ivy and Exzenia (Landon) Mosley, of New Albany; and other children that he raised as own, his sister Tommie Lou Hickson of Chicago, IL; his aunts Zella Mae Sruggs and Elzadie Gordon; special grandchildren, Tommie Snow, Camille (Nathaniel) Anderson, Adrial White, Edwina White, 14 other grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, other relatives, a host of friends, and of course, his church family. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son Tom White and a sister Dorothy Stubbs. Rev. White’s Homegoing Service will be held at 12 O’clock Noon on Friday, November 3rd, in the Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1250 Lathrop Ave., with Rev. Daryn D. Crenshaw officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Testimonials

August 1, 2025

Words cannot even begin to express the tremendous gratitude our family has for a team like the one at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory. Thank you for the gentle lovely care over our mother Delia (Rosa) Balderas. Never having had a direct experience with a funeral home to this extent we didnt know what to expect. We didnt have a clue that they would step right in and have the most comforting team surrounding us that thought of ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING for anyone in our position. It was very evident from the first discussion on the phone that they were already well prepared to handle every little detail for us that we weren’t even aware would be required. Mark and his team truly eased so much of the unknown worries right out of our path, and left room for us to just focus on the small personal details we wanted for our mom. It was nice to know that all cost involved was in black and white on their site as well as on paper at our first meeting. Leaving no room for question or doubt what so ever with any fee involved. It was truly a blessing to have everything written out so well and simplified with various price range options in a time that we needed crystal clear direction. Its been beautiful to see that their care and service didnt stop after our mom’s service came to an end. They continue to be in communication with immediate responses as questions arise along the way. God bless Mark, and the entire compassionate team, to be around to guide many many more for generations to come through life’s most difficult times. You are all truly amazing.

Hilda Balderas
