To Nancy and the entire Shortess family: Our sincerest sympathies to you. Nancy, you have been a fantastic family friend along with Dick. Our families were so close and it’s because you two were best friends with our Dad and Mom and you all were great role models for us boy’s. Thank you for those fantastic year’s! To all the Shortess boy’s, Jeff, Dave, Tom and Gary and families; thanks for the memories! You are a special group and I often think of the great times growing up together. God’s blessings to you all and be comforted knowing Dick is in heaven smiling down on you all! How proud he must be! Love to you all!

I only had the privilege of working with Dick for about 5 years at Case Co but the experience was great. I had much respect and appreciation for the man. My sympathies to his family
Ron & Mary Carls says
When our daughter, Tammy, married Dick & Nancy’s son, Gary, over 30 years ago, it gave us the opportunity to gain 2 wonderful friends, Dick & Nancy. We have always enjoyed our little visits with them over the years. Dick was a true gentleman, always smiling and never complaining. Our deepest sympathy to Nancy and their family. He will be truly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
