Service Details

Services celebrating Rick’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 5:00 pm. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 3-5 pm. Private interment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

Kenosha – Rick Edward Bestwick, age 69, passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Rick was born in Pekin, IL on November 21, 1952 to Lester and Lorraine (nee: Machnik) Bestwick. He faithfully served our country with the United States Army. Quite the talented mechanic, Rick enjoyed working on his motorcycle and helping family & friends with their mechanical issues. Above all, Rick loved spending time with his entire family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife, Nanci J. Hulchiy; daughter, Shawna (Curtis) Bestwick; grandchildren, Arianna, Jordynn and Travis; sisters & brothers, Lesta (Jack) Hemstreet, Stewart (Marjorie) Bestwick, Kileen (Louis) Koutromanos, Peggy Glenn and David (Lyla) Orrico; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Judy (Michael) Guzaldo, Diane Motyka, Michael Hulchiy, William Hulchiy, John Hulchiy and Marybeth (Michael) Madry; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Lester Bestwick; mother, Lorraine Orrico-Pattee; beloved son, Travis Bestwick, who had his life taken from him on June 22, 2008; nephew, Michael Madry; Nanci’s parents, Michael & Dorothy Hulchiy; and brothers-in-law, Robert Motyka and Robert Hulchiy.

Services celebrating Rick’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 5:00 pm. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 3-5 pm.     He was a loving and caring brother we spent many day together in the passed few months . He loved Louie very much and he told him that in his last day with us. I love him and he will always be in my thoughts. His sister Kileen
