Service Details

The celebration of his life with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave., Racine, WI on October 17, 2022. Visitation is from 10am-12pm, Mass and military procession to follow at 12pm.

Robert Paul Franch, 82, of Milwaukee, WI went to his eternal home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 after a long illness. Rob received a bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame in Economics and an MBA from Keller Graduate School Management. He proudly served in the Army, 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam.
Rob spent his working years as a banker with many Chicago area institutions. His favorite job was retirement. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, history, traveling, cooking, puns, watching Notre Dame, the Chicago Bears and White Sox. He mostly enjoyed his loving family. Spending time with grandchildren brought smiles to his face and his heart.
He will join his father, Robert Franch, mother, Julia Martino Franch, brother, Charlie Franch, brother, John (Irene) Franch and son Michael Franch. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Cheri Franch, son, Rob (Lorena) Franch, daughter in law, Laura Franch, daughter, Nicole (Brad) Peter, daughter, Kristina (John) Van Slyke, sister, Julie (Al) Favata, brother, Richard (Sue Rice) Franch, grandchildren, Caden, Vinci, Logan, Hailey, Tyler, Aby, Chase, Josie, and Meg.
