Tammie Rose Rach

Service Details

A Celebration of her life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Greg to establish a trust fund for the grandchildren.

 

 

Tammie R. Rach, 58, of Racine, passed away at Columbia-St. Mary’s, Milwaukee on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She was born in Kenosha on March 12, 1964, the daughter of the late Eric and Gail (nee: Pinsoneault) Nelson Jr.

Tammie had been employed by the City of Racine Water Utility until retiring in 2020. She was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she loved playing softball and bowling. In 1994, Tammie was voted Apprentice of the Year by Plumbers Local #118.

Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Greg; her children, Brandon (Valerie) Nelson, of Evansville, IN, and Greg (Pam) Rach Jr., of Antioch, IL; two and a half grandchildren, Alex, Augustus, and one to arrive in June; brothers and sisters, Craig Nelson, of Alexandria, LA, Kevin (Linda) Nelson, of Atlanta, Lori (Jerry) Benson, of Kenosha, Eric (Alison) Nelson III., of Santa Barbara, CA, and Crystal Longo, of Pardeeville, WI; step brothers and step sisters, Deanna Glidden, David Bergeson, Steven Bergeson, and John Bergeson;  sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tammy Rach, of Racine Rodney (Leslie) Rach, in Arizona, Wendy (Bill) Heinz, of Twin Lakes, WI, Darcey (Al) Greco, of Racine, and Laurie Rach, of Fredericksburg, TX, and special friends Paula and David Sanchez, of Racine. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive her.
