A celebration of William’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 11:00am, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating.   Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.

In loving memory of William Frederick Roushia, a beloved father, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, in Racine, WI. Born in Chicago, IL, on November 2, 1964, William lived a rich and fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many.

William was known for his love of movies and his frequent visits to Family Video. He will always be remembered for his joy in long drives through the countryside, often culminating in memorable dining experiences at new restaurants. His passion for life extended to his cherished moments spent with his grandchildren over leisurely lunches, where his love for Peanut M&Ms and Coca-Cola shone through.

An admirer of eagles and a collector of all things adorned with smiley faces, William found delight in the simple pleasures of life. As a dedicated supervisor in the manufacturing industry at In Sink Erator, William poured his heart into his work with unwavering commitment.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Courtney (Carlos) Pavia; grandchildren, Camron, Cylee, Conner, Carson; sisters, Cindy (Fred) Padgett, Kim (Robert) Emmerling; brother, Chris Roushia; brother-in-law, Roderick Ives, who carry on his legacy of warmth and kindness.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Judith Roushia; brother, Wayne Roushia; sister, Lisa Roushia-Ives; and step-mother, Charlotte Roushia.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable soul, let us hold dear the memories of his infectious smile, his love for his family, and the joy he found in life’s simplest pleasures. May his spirit soar high like the eagles he admired, forever in our hearts.

Rest in peace, William Frederick Roushia. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.

Of my previous co-worker (Chi-Chi’s), your “Happy, Happy” comments on FB were always a good reminder to “Be happy x’s two”. I’ll forever cherish the memories and the giggles we shared while working together! My condolences to all his family at this time. He will be missed by many I’m sure. RIP Willie! 😇

Testimonials

December 22, 2016

Thank you so much for your staff’s gentle, patient, and thorough management of my nephew’s memorial service yesterday. It was run to perfection, and we couldn’t be more pleased. From the beautiful slide show transitions to the quality audio system to the easels, pedestals and Kringle…all details were impeccable and appreciated.
