STANISLAWA “STELLA” ABROMAITIS RACINE – Mrs. Stella Abromaitis, 79, died with her family by her side at Hospice House in Kenosha on Tuesday, February 14, 2006. Mrs. Abromaitis was born in Vilno, Poland on June 11, 1926 to Edward and Stanislawa (nee: Ratomska) Lobaczewska. In 1973 she and her husband, Eugenius “Eugene” moved their family to Racine. Eugene preceded her in death on June 9, 2004. She retired from Rainfair. Mrs. Abromaitis enjoyed cooking for her family and loved nature, especially flowers and birds. Her survivors include her children, Yolanda (Les) Kasperek of Highland Park, IL, Grazina Perri, Alex (Tina) Abromaitis both of Racine; grandchildren, Robert, Laura, Melissa, Michelle and Julie and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Abromaitis’ brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, February 17, 2006 at 11:30 am for the celebration of Stella’s life. Burial will follow next to her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:30 -11:30 a.m.
