Memorial Suggestions

In memory of Judy, offer a kind deed to someone in need.

Kenosha – Judith Faye (nee: Grimm) Savaglia, age 82, passed away peacefully at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center late Saturday evening, February 20, 2021 following a courageous struggle with heart disease.

A lifetime resident, Judith was born in Kenosha on April 7, 1938 to the late John and Ethel (nee: Klipfel) Grimm. She was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. On April 13, 1976 in Las Vegas, one of their favorite places to visit, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Carl S. Savaglia. Judy served our community as a nurse with Kenosha Memorial Hospital, then as a corporate nurse for Snap-On Tool for nearly 30 years, from where she retired. As a side career, but more as a hobby, she owned & operated Judy’s Now & Then Estate Sales for the past 25 years.

Surviving are her loving husband, Carl; their children, of which were their everything: Tim, Todd (Jennifer), Heidi and Richard (Suzi) Bichsel; Anne (Jessi) Randall; John, Tom, Patti, Jennie, Greg (Sherri), Mike (Heather) and Ken (Bridgett) Savaglia; and Lori Herrman; adored grandchildren & great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Grimm; and sisters, Arlene (John) Arnett and Pat (Roger) Anderson.

Family will honor Judith’s beautiful life this coming summer 2021. In memory of Judy, offer a kind deed to someone in need.

Testimonials

May 24, 2018

I can’t express my gratitude enough to Mike and the Draeger-Langendorf staff for such great service provided to us, as we made arrangements to lay our brother to rest. You all went above and beyond to make sure we understood every detail there was to know, from the greatest to the smallest. When we walked out of your office, we walked out with peace, knowing that our brother was in good hands. Thank you Mike for adding that special touch to my brother’s service, that’s the kind of stuff that separates you all from the rest. Once again Thank you so much.

Valerie McLain
