Kevin S. Johnson

Jun 20, 1970 – Jun 1, 2021

Service Details

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Racine Assembly of God, 1325 Airline Rd, 53406.

Kevin S. Johnson passed away on June 1, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kevin was born in Racine, WI on June 20, 1970, to Dennis and Sandra (Hansen). He graduated from Washington Park High School in 1989. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Ann (Keuffer) for 23 years. She preceded him in death on July 8, 2017. She was the love of his life and was sadly missed.

Kevin most recently worked at Festival Foods where he enjoyed interacting with the public. Also, he previously worked at Walmart and enjoyed his time there as well.

Kevin and Kim both loved the church and attended when possible. They looked forward to thrift shopping and finding bargains and treasures from around the area. He loved football and supported the Packers and worked at the games of the Racine Raiders. Kevin was a life-long cat lover who always cared for his furry friends.

Surviving are his mother, Sandra, and brother, Gerald, of Illinois. Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Dennis, and loving wife, Kimberly Ann.
Kevin was appreciative of the many friends from various churches who lovingly helped him for years. Your service has not gone unnoticed.

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Racine Assembly of God, 1325 Airline Rd, 53406.

Kevin was a great kid. I lived at 1427 Monroe Ave back in the in the 80’s. I raised 5 kids there and Kevin was always hanging around. I would always be fixing his bike. He was always welcomed. I didn’t know Kevin passed away until today. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Jerry Fredericks…

Testimonials

June 24, 2020

Can’t thank Gary and you all enough for our fathers funeral arrangements (Victor Joseph Morris) June 18th, 2020.
He would have been SO proud. So many little personal details that we were not even expecting, totally overwhelmed us. From the pamphlets to the thank-you notes and copies of the video, to the beautiful casket picture and arrangement. Pop looked as proud as he was in life. And thanks also to the very cooperative and helpful staff. We thought it would take much longer to knock this all out at our one and only meeting with Gary. We did not want to overlook, or forget to give our heartfelt thanks for such wonderful service at such a horrible time in our lives.
God Bless,
Bob Morris
