Racine, WI – Angela Luchunne (nee: Coleman) Booker, known as Angie, was called to our Lord on Saturday, October 16, 2021. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin to Clyde and Matilda (nee: Gandy) Coleman on December 22, 1966. A 1985 graduate of Jerome I. Case High School, Angie was valedictorian of her class and later continued her academic journey with a bachelor’s degree from Upper Iowa University in Social Services. In her life’s work, she was dedicated to helping others as a clinical substance abuse counselor. Angela poured her heart and soul into her work and all her peers absolutely admired her.

Angela’s heart was devoted to her family. Known simply as “baby”, she was a loving wife to her husband Earl and adored by her children and grandchildren. She had an infectious spirit and made it a point to assure everyone she touched felt important and special. In her spare time, Angela had a passion for reading, shopping, animals, and most importantly helping others. Her compassion and empathy for others was incomparable. She will be tremendously missed.

She is survived by her father in law Earl Booker Sr: Her loving husband Earl Booker Jr: Two daughters Ashley (Kourtland) Wilkerson-Adams and Mariah (Eddie) Turner: one son Garry Brown as well as a very special nephew D’arie Ellis: Two grandsons Kyron and Channing White and four granddaughters Lauren Ashley Adams, Rashiya and Emiah Turner, and Empress Okaye: Five sisters Sandra Bray, Rosemary Coleman, Carolyn Simmons, Robin (Sidney) Lawton, and Kari Belongia: Three brothers Samuel Griffin, John W. Brown and Jamie Greer: A special friend Carla Ward, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and two fur babies Little Man and Deuce.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Matilda Coleman. Sister Mottie Sanders and four brothers Terron, Garry, Darrell and Mark Coleman.

Visitation with her family will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd., Racine, WI. Remarks from family and friends will begin at 5:00pm.

Please wear a mask at all times in the funeral home.
