Nancy Jo Burch

May 29, 1947 – Dec 15, 2023

Service Details

Per her wishes, there will be no service for Nancy.

In memoriam of Nancy Jo Burch, who passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023. A devoted mother survived by two daughters, five cherished grandchildren and seven siblings. Nancy, a compassionate registered nurse, dedicated her life to healing and caring for others. Beyond her medical profession, she found joy in the delicate art of cross-stitching, creating beautiful tapestries that reflected her creative spirit. A fervent supporter of the Green Bay Packers, Nancy’s enthusiasm for her team brought excitement to countless game days. Her memory will be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.

I am sorry to hear about Nancy’s passing. We grew up together. I was a year older and lived on Ruby, a few blocks away. We used to walk home from school. I would walk with her to the corner of William and Main and we would continue gabbing. I’m glad we could reconnect on Facebook after all those years. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear of this. Our “gang of girls” often went swimming at the beach near her house . I also remember a fancy tea party, and sneaking out during sleepovers! We were so bad!

So sorry to hear this. I had recently started seeing her posts on FB, and I was hoping to re-connect with her to have some laughs about old times. My wife (then girlfriend), Lynne Johnson, and I double dated with Nancy and Gary Bosak a bunch of times in high school. We all had a lot of fun back in the day. The last time I saw her was when she came out of the OR after my dad’s last surgerym and she was very sympathetic and explained there seriousness of his condition, She was terrific!

Our whole group spent every summer at Burches beach, down the hill from Nancy’s family home. Another vital member of our famous Horlick class of ‘65. God bless your family and other loved ones.

I will never forget the good times I had with Nancy. We were cheerleaders together and always competed as to who had the higher kick! I remember all the summers were spent down on the beach near Nancy’s house.
I live in Ca. now but we were in Chicago last June and visited Racine. One of the first things I did ( before buying a kringle) was to visit the beach. I sat in front of Nancy’s house for several minutes and reminisced. I wish she had been “home” when I knocked on the door. God bless Nancy. I’ll always remember her.

Dear Gary, You and your staff are really special people. I and my family felt so blessed that all of the funeral arrangements were in your thorough and caring hands. One helpful meeting and then you took care of all the arrangements – and we knew we need not worry about one thing.
