Service Details

There will be a time of sharing with family and friends at 1:00 P. M. on Friday, September 13, 2024 in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home.  Visitation will take place from 12:00 Noon until the time of sharing at 1:00 P.M.  Inurnment will follow the services at West Lawn Memorial Park, Mount Pleasant.

Diane L. Neuendorf (Klein), 78, passed away on August 27, 2024 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah.  She was a resident of Markesan Residence Home for many years prior to her passing.

Born on March 3, 1946, in Racine, WI, Diane was the daughter of the late William G. Klein and Florence I. (Caskey) Harris.  Diane was employed by the City of Racine where she held several positions that specifically interacted with the public due to her welcoming, bright, cheerful personality.

Diane was united in marriage to Willi K. Neuendorf on October 19, 1996 (Sweetest Day).  Together they enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and traveling until the time of Willi’s passing in 2012.  Diane was an avid knitter, loved playing cards and spending time with family.

She is survived by her mother, Florence I. Harris, siblings, Barbara A. (Ronald) Goll, William G. (Lillian) Klein, Donald A. (LeaAnn) Klein and Steven L. (Lauren) Klein; step-children, Werner Neuendorf, Monika Kish, Arnold Neuendorf, Christine Neuendorf, Dean Berget, Dawn Walling and Daniel Berget; and many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

 

Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Willi K. Neuendorf; father, William G. Klein and sister, Irene J. Klein.

    We will always remember Diane with her good nature. Roger lived with Florence and Bill for awhile. He says, “he felt like a big brother to her” He also did a lot of babysitting.

I would like to thank Mike Langendorf, Bill Althaus and the rest of the staff for the wonderful celebration of the life for my father Raymond L. Szymanski who was a WWII veteran. I especially appreciate how much you really listen and the questions you asked regarding who my father was and what he was all about.
