Service Details

The family invites you to join them in celebrating June’s life at Fountain Banquet Hall (8505 Durand Avenue in Sturtevant, WI  53177) on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 12:00 Noon – 4:00 pm, with a brief service of remembrance at Noon – followed by a luncheon.

Memorial Suggestions

In lieu of flowers, memorials to “Zilber Family Hospice” have been suggested.

Oak Creek, WI (formerly of Franksville, WI) – Junis (nee: Norby) Weippert, age 85, passed away peacefully at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.

June was born in Mondovi, WI on September 17, 1939, the daughter of the late Emil Clarence Norby and Adeline Hazel (nee: Klevegard) Norby.  She married Richard Lee Weippert on October 18, 1958, at Bethesda Lutheran Church. Sadly, Richard passed away on January 23, 2023.

June enjoyed antiquing, embroidery, gardening, shopping, spending time with her grandchildren, and cherished the simple things in life. Together, June and Richard shared the hobby of motorcycles, belonging to the Antique Motorcycle Club, touring all over the country together on their bike.

June is survived by her sons and daughters, Scott (Donna) Weippert of Port Charlotte FL, Lisa (Chris) Slusar of Mosinee, Janet (Khris) Radke of Oak Creek, James (Danyelle) Weippert of Sturtevant;  grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Kostman, Mitchell Slusar, and Seth, Olivia, and Michael Weippert; sister, Charmayne Brenner; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Steve) Kimpel; brothers-in-law, Steve (Lynn) Milward and Jim Dieckman; as well as many dear nieces, nephews and other relatives.  In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by her sisters & brothers, Lamoine (Lenore) Norby, Earl Norby, David (Gloria) Norby, Lincoln Norby, Marcy (Bud) Knecht, and Cheryl Dieckman; Richard’s parents, Truman and Sarah (nee: Lee) Weippert; sisters-in-law, Sally (John) Marshall and Susan (Gregory) Thielen; and brother-in-law, Joseph Brenner.

A heartfelt note of thanks to Mom’s devoted caretaker of four years, Allison “Miss Alley” Modrow for the compassionate care and support given in June’s time of need. May God bless you in your continued journey as a nurse!
