RACINE – Kathleen J. Brau, 59, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
She was born in Racine on June 9, 1966, the daughter of Robert and Suzann (nee Otto) Brau. Kathy graduated from Washington Park High School in 1984.
Kathy worked for Johnson Wax until her illness forced an early retirement.
She enjoyed visiting casinos, Transformers, especially Optimus Prime, and dogs. She was happiest in the company of her grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her children, Alyssa (Dan) Cacciotti, Robert (Jessica Beauchamp) Hess, and Heather Hess; her mother, Sue Brau; her grandchildren, CJ Fergus, Braylon Hess, Kenadie Cacciotti, Sophia Cacciotti, Naomi Cacciotti, Colton Cacciotti; her sisters and brothers, Scott (Michelle) Brau, Tracey Brau, Linda (Brian Poikonen) Brau, Anne (Tom) Eickner, Robert (Brenda) Brau, and Brian Brau; her aunts and uncles, Kathleen Sanders, Valorie Drinkwine, Kevin (Val) Brau, Byron (Judy) Verheyen, and Jerilyn Brau; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Brau, and her brother, Kent Brau.
