Service Details

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jeffrey on a future date, yet to be determined by his family.

Jeffrey Alan Lutkus, age 70, passed away at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

Jeffrey was born in Racine to Clem and Carol (nee: Hoffman) Lutkus. He was a graduate of St. Catherine’s High School and went to college in Eau Claire. Jeffrey was employed in the IT Department at JI Case and later worked on the heat treater at Wrought Washer in Milwaukee. Among his interests, Jeffrey enjoyed spending time boating and fishing, especially in the Three Lakes Area of Wisconsin; loved getting away to his trailer home in Montello; had a fondness for his three cats, Marley, Gracie and Felix, and would feed and care for stray cats in the neighborhood, which is how he took in Gracie and Felix; Jeffrey had a big heart and special touch with animals.

Surviving are his daughter, Melissa (Jeff) Kmieciak; sister, Michelle Seitz; niece, Amy and nephew, Corey; great nieces, Ashlei and Alexandra; other relatives and friends. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Lutkus; parents, Clem and Carol; and brother, Scott Lutkus.
