Mary Hargrove, 92, of Racine, WI passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on April 16, 1932, in Columbus Mississippi to Sanders and Lubertha Jamison. She married Walker Hargrove, on March 29, 1947, and they enjoyed 61 wonderful years together. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother of 14, great-grandmother of 8, great-great grandmother of 5, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was very proud of her family; Mary was always a caregiver. She loved moments when her home was filled with loved ones sharing a meal; she enjoyed planting her flowers, watching old classic movies, cooking, sewing and traveling around the world.

Mary is survived by her sons; William (Carole) from St. Paul, MN, Roy (Theodosia) from Toledo, OH, Kevin from Chicago, IL, Ronnie (Vanessa) from Racine, John Neal from South Haven, MS; daughter-in-law, Donna Hargrove from Omaha, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walker, son Dwight, granddaughter, Cayla and all ten siblings.

Our family wishes to thank all the family and friends who provided us with their prayers and support.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed.

I worked with Mr. Hargrove at wastewater for many years. I remember Mrs. Hargrove. She had such a beautiful spirit. She gave me a beautiful rose bush that my wife and I planted . She was a wonderful woman inside and out.

I remember when I meet Mary/Walker. They lived in the valley as I later learned it was called. All these years the Hargrove family lived in that house. She always had a smile, and she was always very welcoming. Mary will be missed so much, but this is not a goodbye, this is, “Until we meet again”. Jehovah has a beautiful future just ahead. Revelation 21:3,4

To the loved ones of Mary Hargrove:

Although we did not have the privilege of knowing Sister Hargrove in this system, we sincerely hope to meet her under far better conditions to exist in paradise. (Rev. 21:4) We pray that Jehovah’s promises, which we know cannot fail, will support and strengthen each of you until reunited with her in the not-too-distant future. (Job 14:14,15; John 5:28,29 (a)).

With all of our love and heartfelt prayers,

    The Guillory Family
