Service Details

Services celebrating Quentin’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park.

RACINE – Quentin Ray Smith, age 16, had his beautiful life taken from him on Friday, August 12, 2022.

Quentin was born in Racine on July 21, 2006 to Justin R. Smith and Melissa Minneti. Quentin was just about to start his junior year at Washington Park High School.

Quentin was creative, smart, funny, outgoing, a prankster & jokester, who was a computer whiz and master of video games. Above all, Quentin loved being around his entire family and extensive circle of friends.

Surviving are his mom, Melissa Minneti; dad, Justin Ray Smith; brother, Justin D. Smith; sisters, Taliyah Reynolds and Kalli (Patrick Sorenson) Smith; grandparents, Raymond Smith, Deborah Smith, Phil Minneti and Nancy (Randy) Barnes; great-grandmother, Alice Georgeson; aunts, Julie Hadlock and Heather Smith; uncles, Kyle Smith and Phillip Minneti; longtime best-friend, JaMarion Dawson; many other special relatives and tons of friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

Quentin was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Raymond Georgeson, Gerald Smith and Joanne Smith.

Services celebrating Quentin’s life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Interment will take place in West Lawn Memorial Park.

    I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. It is very hard loosing a child. No matter what age they are it’s very hard. My deepest sympathy to Quentin’s family. I’ve never met Quentin but I know his wonderful brother Justin ❤. One never ever gets over the loss of your child.
