Ronald Gene Lamberty, 76, of Racine, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly at All Saints Hospital on Tuesday September 24, 2024, with his family by his side.

Ron was born on September 4, 1948, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Racine. He was the first of six children born to Francis and Helen (nee: Johnson) Lamberty.

Ron graduated from Washington Park High School in 1966 and began working as a machinist at Rexnord located in Sturtevant. However, in 1968, he chose to enlist in the United States Army and proudly served as a Communications Center Specialist. He had the opportunity to visit many places including Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Egypt, Turkey, England, Italy, Denmark, Japan, and Korea. In May of 1970, he was united in marriage to Patricia Kuhnwald. The following month they left to reside in Africa where he was stationed with the U.S. Army.

After returning state side, Ron returned to his job where he continued to work for 35 years. During that time, he became a father and later a grandfather. He also earned degrees as Civil Structural Technician and in Supervisory Management. He separated from Bosch Rexroth as Production Superintendent when they closed their Sturtevant Operations. He then worked at Teleflex Medical located in Kenosha until his retirement in 2007.

Ron loved golfing and began working again at Washington Park golf course after his retirement. Over the years he enjoyed many sports including softball, bowling, and shooting trap and skeet. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, playing cards, reading, restoring his classic GTO, taking leisurely drives, and spending time with family and friends.

Ron was a devoted son, loving father, and a proud grandfather. He is tremendously missed and survived by his daughter, Heather Kallas, and grandsons, Cody Reich and Payton Lamberty. He is further survived by siblings Rick (Sandy) Lamberty, Linda Toft, Judy Kuchera and Sharon (Bill) Sliker as well as other relatives and many friends. He has been reunited with his parents, brother Gary Lamberty, brothers in law Henry Toft and Tony Kuchera and the friends who preceded him in death.

To Ron’s Family, Ron was a Fantastic Person to know. Al & I worked with him at Rexnord Busch for years. We bowled, golf & went on golf vacations with him. He is now with Al, Tom Stuebe, golfing on God’s golf course & playing cards after. I will miss him dearly, just like I miss my Husband Al & Tom. Sandy

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

We want to thank Mike for the kindness and special attention he gave us for our mother. Marcella Conley. He came in the middle of the night himself to pick her up and take her to the funeral home. For the things that had to be taken care of, he told us not to worry; that it would be taken care of by him. Thank you also Mike for singing at her funeral, especially her favorite song, Amazing Grace. Thank you and all of your staff at Draeger-Langendorf.
