Royljo White who was known to most as “Rajo,” passed away peacefully in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Friday June 06, 2025. Royijo was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 18, 1961 to the late Charles and Arlethia White. He attended Olympia Brown Learning Educational School for special needs children. He worked for Careers (VARC) in Racine WI; he also worked for MRC, McKercher and Alcott Adult Learning Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan, until his passing.

Royljo loved spending time with his brother, sisters, and family. He also loved spending quality time with his brother-in-law, Charles Abbott, that he loved so dearly. He loved listening to Brian McKnight, dancing, but most of all his Art paintings, and showing exhibits with MRC Art in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I would like to give a special thanks of appreciation to Mary Walker, Michael, Valerie, Tanya, and Doris; these are Abbott family.

Testimonials

May 11, 2021

Gary is a warm, kind, loving, human being. He seems to have passed that quality onto the rest of his family. I have deep respect for him and his family. I have been able to say goodbye to several of my friends in this beautiful facility. God Bless.

Brian Friss
