Mr. Thurman J. Golden, 57, died unexpectedly as the result of an accident. His death was pronounced on March 4, 2009. He was born in Racine on January 4, 1952, the son of Joseph and Willie Mae (nee: Braddoc) Golden. Thurman retired from CNH International (formerly J.I. Case Corp.) after almost 30 years of service. He was employed by Clean Co. at the time of his death. His survivors include his dear mother, Willie Mae Golden; his brothers and sisters, Terry Golden, Steve (Michelle) Golden, Carolyn Golden, Stephanie Golden, Sherrell Golden, Herman (Mildred) Folson; a very special niece, Tashara Ramsey all of Racine; as well as many other nieces, nephews, dear relatives and friends. Thurman was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Golden and 10 brothers and sisters. His life and Homegoing will be celebrated in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11:00 am with Rev. Darryl Simmons officiating. A committal service will follow in Graceland Cemetery. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11 am.
