Mildred G. Mullen

Mar 6, 1931 – Sep 9, 2011

 

     Mildred G. Mullen, 80, passed away peacefully, at her residence, on Friday. September 9, 2011, surrounded by the ones she loved the most. She was born in Monessen, PA on March 6, 1931, the daughter of the late Fay and Bertha (nee: Brand) Mullen.

     Mill, as she was affectionately called, had been employed by the Flexible Steel Lacing Co., of Chicago, IL as an executive secretary until her retirement. After her retirement, Miss Mullen moved to Racine to be near her dear friends. She was a member of the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Surviving are her 3 sisters, Eileen, Mary, and Kathleen “Babe”, and their families. She is also survived by the Hansens, JoAnne and Tom, Matthew, Christopher, Tracy, Trevor, and Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth, brother, Francis, and her close friend, Harriet Roberts.

     Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St., on Monday, September 12th, with Rev. Terry Huebner officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.
