Service Details

In accordance with Tim’s wishes, services were held privately.

Timothy Eugene Okland, 60, passed away on September 29, 2022. Tim was born on December 20, 1961, to Ingvald and Ilene Okland in Bozeman, Montana. Tim was raised in Bismarck, North Dakota and graduated from Century High School in 1980. He was active in sports in both high school and college. He graduated from the University of North Dakota and became a high school teacher and coach.  He then continued his education earning a Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. He practiced and owned his own Chiropractic Care Center in Racine, WI, near Milwaukee, for many years.

Tim and his son Max were avid Brewers, Bucks, and Vikings fans. Tim enjoyed traveling with his friends and his son. He had a very loving dog named Matty, who was a great companion. He was passionate about healing and working with his many patients. Tim enjoyed Racine and loved the community he called home very much. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Melinda. He is survived by his son Max, and brother Doug.

We were patients and saw Tim every 2 weeks. He kept us both in line. We enjoyed talking about biking or what music was happening at the local beer gardens. He was a great chiropractor and really nice guy. He will be missed. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Wow “Life Is Not Easy!” We both have only one son. I am truly saddened by this news after many phone calls and not response from the positive receptionist I decided to drive to the office today since I live and work in iL. To the family he was a good man making a difference for so many! May we keep his memories alive! Ms. Lube

Dr Tim was kind and very good Dr that could trust…the whole family used his services for years. We were all shocked of his passing and he will be missed forever and God took a good soul.

When I first moved to Racine about a year and a half ago, he was the chiropractor that I chose. He treated his patience like friends and was always cheerful and kind. I remember he was going to visit family at my last visit. I don’t know what caused his passing assuming it had to be sudden. A great person, and he will be missed.

OMG! I had no clue Dr Oakland passed. I was wondering why the business was closed. I’m so sorry for your loss and just finding out now. I was one of his carat patients when he started his business up. My condolences to family and friends.

Gary is a warm, kind, loving, human being. He seems to have passed that quality onto the rest of his family. I have deep respect for him and his family. I have been able to say goodbye to several of my friends in this beautiful facility. God Bless.
