~~ George H. Stevens, 78, passed away in the Grand Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center, on
Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was born in Kenosha on October 24, 1935 the son of the late George and Nelma (nee: Anderson) Stevens. George received two degrees, one from U.W.-Madison, and the other from U.W.-Parkside. He owned and operated his own investment firm in Kenosha.
Surviving are his children; John (Jessie) Stevens, of Edgerton, WI, and Laura (Larry) Ohman, of Junction City, OR; 5 grandchildren; Mariah, Christopher, Ivy, Clara and Jane; and his sister, Kathy Justus, of Shreveport, LA.
There will be a gathering remembering George in the funeral home on Friday, April 4th at 12 o’clock Noon. Relatives and friends can meet with the family from 10:30 a.m. until Noon; at which time you are invited to share stories about George. Inurnment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
