Bobbie Jean Lott

Service Details

Homegoing service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon at New Brighter Day Baptist Church (1225 25th Avenue in Kenosha) with Pastor Thomas Lester officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. Viewing will be in the church on Saturday from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Bobbie J. Lott, age 64, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2024, with family by her side. Bobbie was born on January 19th, 1960, to the union of Fred and Bernice Lott in Lambert, Mississippi. Bobbie accepted Christ as her savior at an early age while attending Bright and Morning Star Baptist Church. Bobbie attended Lambert Elementary School in Lambert, MS. and Pryor Street School in Atlanta, GA. She went on to attend DuSable High School in Chicago, IL and Kennedy King College in Chicago, IL.

She relocated to Wisconsin in 1989, where she began her career as a patient care technician. In 2012, Bobbie decided to change career paths and becoming a foster parent for the State of Wisconsin.

Bobbie was a caring, kind-hearted and generous person, who enjoyed life and helping others in her community. She enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and listening to gospel music. She was a strong, independent and truthful woman, with a personality that was one of kind. Bobbie was an amazing mother and grandmother who was loved dearly and will be terribly missed.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Bernice Lott; father, Fred Lott; sisters, Mary Lou Monette, Lillian Montgomery and Gloria Lott; four nieces and two great nieces.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Daughters: Nikina Lott, Briana Lott, Aaliyah Little and Heavenly Lott; Sons: Milton Lott and Michael Lott (wife Glenda Solomon-Lott), Grandkids: Milton Lott Jr., Diamond Jordan, Jaquan Lott, Ny’Queila Lott, James White II, Amiri Williams, Herman Thomas Jr, Ajah Lott, Jai White, Michael Lott Jr, Raniyah Alexander, Jaida White, Jaide White, Kharyri Alexander, Hasani Brown, Amiyah Alexander, Azaria Alexander, Hy’Ness Brown, K’Allure Brown, Shamari Patterson & Montriel Solomon; Great Grandkids: Lavay Lott, Mekhai Brown, Ma’Khylah Brown and James White Jr.; Sisters: Rosietta Lott, Virgie Lott of Kenosha, WI, Linda Lott of Chicago, IL and Katrice Lott of Georgia; Brother: Eddie Lott of Kenosha, WI and Fred Lott Jr. of Milwaukee, WI; God sister Bertha Steward of Kenosha, WI; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
