
Racine – Gustave Arthur Langner, 98, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints on Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was born in Racine on March 26, 1916, son of the late Fred and Johanna (nee: Kitzman) Langner.
Gus was united in marriage to the love of his life, Erma Firmani, on February 27, 1943, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Gus was a tool and die maker for Dumore Manufacturing for 43 years. He was a member of the Sheridan Woods Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Gus leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of over 71 years, Erma Langner of Racine; daughters, Cathlene (Tim) Havens of Englewood, CO, Joan Denney of Fishers, IN; son, Paul (Joann) Langner of Racine; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives too numerous to mention.
In addition to his parents, Gus is preceded in death by six brothers; four sisters; and son-in-law, Jim Denney.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, November 28, 2014, 3:00pm, at Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1600 Summerset Drive. Visitation will be from 2:30pm until the time of the service.
