Violet enjoyed spending time with her family, going to basketball games, watching the Green Bay Packers and trying to teach all her grandchildren her famous macaroni & cheese and dressing recipes.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her daughter, Dr. Sarah (Alvin, Jr.) Fouse of Racine; her stray daughter, Joyce (Jerry) Wadlington of Racine; her grandchildren, Anthony Fouse and Alvin Fouse III, Alicia (Stanley, Sr.) McKenzie; great grandchildren, Tashonda Golden, Felix (Tarita) McKenzie, Stanley (Mary) McKenzie, Jr., Jordan, Alvin, Trentin and Devonte Fouse; great-great grandchildren, Dennis Brownlee, Makayla McAllister, Felix McKenzie , Jr.; two dear people she treated like her grandchildren, Jalen Wadlington and Latrece McMorris; as well as many other dear family members and friends.

Family and friends are invited to meet at Greater Grace Temple (522 N. Memorial Dr.) on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of her life and Home Going with Pastor Willie Scott officiating.  There will be a visitation in the church from 9-11 a.m.  Her interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.

Violet’s family would like to thank Dr. Badi and the entire staff in the ICU at Froedtert for the loving and professional attention that was provided while under their care.

Thank you

Dear Langendorf Family,

There are no words to describe how thankful and loved we felt during our Grandpa’s funeral service. We are so lucky to know you as friends and we will be forever grateful for everything you have done for us and for Grandpa Mario throughout his lifetime and after his death. He loved you all and enjoyed sharing so many great times with you in the barbershop and as neighbors.
