Carlos Antonio Harris

Racine – Carlos Antonio Harris passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on August 23, 2013. Carlos was born on June 20, 2013. During his brief time here on Earth he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. His life was a brief gift to us that will live on forever in our hearts.

  Carlos is survived by his parents, Aalon James Harris and Gina Marie Morones; his siblings, Thomas Moreno, Tiffany Butterfield, Aalon Harris Jr., and Tierra Harris; maternal grandparents Joseph and Dora Morones all of Racine; paternal grandparents Carl and Theresa Harris of Eastpointe, Michigan; aunt Alicia Harris of Eastpointe, Michigan and uncle Anthony Harris of Phoenix, Arizona.

  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. There will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery.

 

We would like to thank Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the NICU staff for the wonderful care of our son. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sarah, Amber and Kayla for providing loving care to our little papas.

 

God, I know you sacrificed your Son to give us life with you.

But we didn’t want our son to leave, because he was precious too.

We are all special in your eyes and for that we will return.

We know our son will not come back, and for this our hearts now yearn.

Lord our precious Carlos is with you today

And we know when he left this earth you lovingly lit his way.

Our time on this earth is for learning, and when our lessons are through.

Lord you will choose the time we come back to you.

Your arms will be wide open, and the wait will be worthwhile.

Especially, when we meet you and see our precious Carlos with his beautiful smile.
