
Racine – Lynn Mary Christoplis, 63, received the promise of eternal life on Thursday, October 10, 2013. She was born in Racine on June 17, 1950, daughter of August and Katherine (nee: Braun) Perman.
Lynn was united in marriage to the love of her life, James John Christoplis, on April 20, 1974, at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Racine.
Lynn graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in 1968. She was a lifelong homemaker and also worked for Walgreens and Sears. Lynn was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed crafts and playing cards. Lynn also liked to bowl before her health no longer allowed her to do so. Above all, Lynn loved her family very much and love spoiling her granddaughter. She will be dearly missed.
Lynn leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of almost 30 years, James Christoplis of Racine; daughter, Tara (Aaron) Strom of Kenosha; son, Keith Christoplis of Racine; granddaughter, Mercedez Christoplis of Kenosha; mother, Katherine Perman of Racine; brothers, Robert Perman of Racine, Dennis (Debbie) Perman of Burlington; aunt, Delores Braun and family; sister-in-law, Shirley (David) Feehrer and family; brother-in-law, Nick Christoplis and family; beloved canine companion, Cottonball; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.
Lynn is preceded in death by her father, August Perman; aunt, Verna Braun; and uncle, Nick Braun.
A celebration of Lynn’s life will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2013, 11:00am, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 2921 Olive Street, with Rev. Michael D. Zarling officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials have been suggested to the family.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Surgery and ICU, especially Dr. Stoltenberg and his staff. The family would like to also thank Dr. Spiering and her staff at Aurora and Jessica from Community Care. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
